Salchipapas is a popular Peruvian street food dish. It’s a simple yet satisfying combination of sliced, pan-fried sausages and French fries. It’s often served with a variety of sauces like ketchup, mustard, several types of mayonnaise, and ají (a spicy Peruvian pepper sauce).

Ingredients:
- 0.5 Kg of your favourite sausages (approximately 1 pound of wieners)
- 1 Kg of French fries (approximately 2 lbs)
- Oil
- Your favourite sauces (ketchup, yellow mustard, mayonnaise, black olive mayo, avocado mayo, hot sauce, etc.)
Preparation:
Get your French fries ready (fried or baked, fresh or frozen). Cut the wieners in round or oval slices. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Cook the wieners until golden.
Serve a portion of fries, add the wieners and pour over some hot sauce and all your other favourite sauces.
